Accessibility
Accessibility statement
We want this site to be usable by everyone who needs to contact us, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Standards we are working to
This site is built to target WCAG 2.2 AA. That means readable contrast for text and interface elements, visible keyboard focus, form fields with real labels and associated error messages, and page structure that can be navigated with a screen reader.
Keyboard and assistive technology
Navigation, menus and forms can be operated with a keyboard. The mobile menu closes with the Escape key, moves focus when opened, and prevents scrolling behind it. Form errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to.
Motion
Movement is minimal and decorative only. If your device or browser is set to reduce motion, animations and smooth scrolling are switched off automatically. No content or meaning depends on animation or video.
Images and charts
Photographs carry descriptions where they convey information; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. The indicative payback chart is accompanied by the same figures in a table.
Known limitations
The map-based project view and the Asset Passport are not yet available. Third-party documents, such as accreditation certificate PDFs, are supplied by the certifying bodies and may not be tagged for accessibility. If you need any document in an alternative format, contact us and we will provide it.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is difficult to use, or you need information in another format, contact us on 01236 368846 or enquiries@gt-scot.co.uk. We will respond and, where the issue is ours, fix it.
