Short, direct answers on Renewable Condition Reports, tenders, coverage and how Greentech works — with the detail linked where it matters.
Most enquiries start with the same handful of questions, so they are answered here in full rather than left for a phone call. Each answer says what Greentech does, what it costs where a published price exists, and which part of the site carries the detail. Where a figure depends on a specific installation — project pricing, savings, compliance on an existing system — the answer says so rather than guessing.
Greentech Scotland works from Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire, delivering commercial electrical, solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installation alongside Renewable Condition Reports for assets that are already in service. The work covers the whole asset lifecycle: design and delivery on new projects, condition reporting on installed systems, then maintenance and lifecycle support once they are running.
Key facts
Greentech Scotland in figures: published prices, the disciplines it delivers, where it works and the credentials it holds.
An RCR is a Renewable Condition Report. An engineer attends the installed solar PV, battery storage or EV charging, inspects it, and records its observed condition in a written report. It gives an owner documented evidence of what is actually on site, rather than what was originally specified.
Domestic RCR is £149 + VAT per property, covering home solar PV, battery storage and EV charging, and includes one written report. Commercial RCR starts from From £295 + VAT, confirmed against the site — the assets present, access arrangements and the scope of the report — so the starting price is not a fixed price for every installation.
It is for anyone responsible for an asset that is already installed: homeowners with solar, a battery or a charge point, and commercial owners, estates and portfolios with single or multiple sites. The domestic route covers one system and one property. The commercial route covers single commercial sites, estates and portfolios, and is quoted against the site.
Request an inspection through the RCR booking route with the site location and the assets involved. Where an asset's condition is uncertain and you are not ready for a full report, the asset health check is a short indicative screening, and the Project Assistant can point you to the right one.
Commercial electrical, solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installation and maintenance, plus fire, security and data alongside the electrical and renewables scope. Renewable Condition Reports cover assets that are already installed. Each capability page sets out a discipline in detail rather than leaving it to a single summary.
Greentech works from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, covering the Central Belt and across Scotland. Site location is confirmed when an enquiry is raised, because attendance and travel are part of what the team prices.
Tenders go to the estimating team through the tender route, with the drawings, the specification and your return date. That is the quickest way to a priced response, and the documents stay private to the team handling the enquiry.
The team reads the brief, confirms the scope, surveys the site where one is needed, and responds in writing — a proposal, a tender submission, or a straight explanation if Greentech is not the right contractor. Timing is confirmed against the scope; no dates are promised before that.
Maintenance and asset care covers planned servicing, inspection and reactive attendance on installed electrical, fire and renewable systems, whatever the original installer. The maintenance route sets out what a contract includes.
Quality and accreditation position is published in full on the accreditations page, including which credentials apply to which discipline and which certificates are available to download. It is set out in context there rather than summarised here, because procurement teams need the discipline-level detail.
Savings and payback figures are not published, because they depend on the site's consumption, tariff, design and how a system is actually used. The energy business case tool models an indicative figure from your own inputs, and anything beyond that is confirmed by the team.
