Maintenance, testing & compliance
Maintenance and compliance that produces evidence, not just attendance
Planned maintenance is only worth paying for if it reduces failure and produces a record you can hand to an insurer, a buyer or an enforcing authority.
We deliver planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, fire and renewable assets, with testing, certification and remedial works coded by urgency.

- NICEIC and BAFE certificated

The position
Maintenance is only worth paying for if it reduces failure and produces a record you can hand to an insurer, a buyer or an enforcing authority.
The compliance gap most sites live with
Testing may be happening. The evidence often is not in a state anyone can use. Certificates sit in a folder, remedial actions are quoted but not prioritised, and the next duty holder inherits a list with no dates against it.
The result is spend that does not reduce risk, and a compliance position that is harder to defend than it needs to be.
What that looks like on site
- Test results issued without prioritised remedial recommendations.
- Fire logbooks incomplete between engineer visits.
- Renewable assets excluded from the maintenance regime entirely.
What we deliver
Scope of works
The boundaries matter as much as the content. If something sits outside our scope, we say so before the project starts.
- 01
Electrical testing
EICR and fixed wire testing with numbered observations, photographic evidence and remedial codes.
- 02
Emergency lighting
Periodic testing and certification to BS 5266, with failures recorded and corrected.
- 03
Fire system servicing
Planned servicing to the system category, logbook management and defect close-out.
- 04
Planned preventative maintenance
Scheduled attendance across electrical and life safety assets, with a single reporting route.
- 05
Reactive attendance
Fault diagnosis and repair for contract clients, with digital job reporting on completion.
- 06
Renewable condition reporting
RCR inspections for solar PV, battery and EV assets as part of the estate's maintenance cycle.

Where you might be starting from
The right first step depends on whether this is a new project, an asset already installed, or an adjacent requirement.

Renewable condition reporting
Existing solar, battery and EV assets brought into the reporting cycle.

Process
How the project runs
- 1
Assess
Asset register review and a clear picture of what is being tested, when, and by whom.
- 2
Plan
A schedule that matches the standards and the site's operating pattern, not a generic annual visit.
- 3
Deliver
Attendance, testing and certification, with findings issued promptly.
- 4
Protect
Remedials prioritised by urgency, so the budget goes where the risk is.
Standards
What this work is measured against
The standards and certifications that govern the work, and the basis on which we expect to be held.
- BS 7671
- Periodic inspection and testing, with recommended intervals by installation type.
- BS 5839-1
- Fire system maintenance and logbook requirements.
- BS 5266
- Emergency lighting testing.
- NICEIC / BAFE
- Certificated competence for the disciplines we maintain.
Considerations
What tends to go wrong
Being explicit about risk is more useful than promising that nothing will happen.
Deferred remedials
A C2 recorded and not actioned is a known risk with a date on it. We code findings so prioritisation is straightforward.
Asset invisibility
Renewable systems are often left out of maintenance entirely until they fail.
Unowned actions
Reports without an owner become shelfware. Every finding needs a decision, even if the decision is to accept it.

Evidence
No published project for this scope yet
Rather than present a project from another discipline as evidence, we have left it out. Ask us directly for references relevant to your requirement.
Greentech RCR
Renewables missing from your maintenance plan?
Greentech RCR adds existing solar, battery and EV assets to the same reporting discipline as the rest of your estate.
Domestic RCR
£149 + VAT
Commercial RCR
From £295 + VAT
Domestic RCR is £149 + VAT per property. Commercial RCR starts from £295 + VAT and is confirmed against the assets on site — never assumed.
