Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Greentech Scotland website, what each one does, and how you can control them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser on later visits, or during the same visit, and to function correctly.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off through our site. They are used to maintain a secure session, to protect forms against misuse, and to remember your cookie choices.

If you sign in to the staff areas of this site — for example the leads inbox — a session cookie is used to keep you authenticated. Signing out clears it.

Analytics

We measure aggregate usage of this site so we can understand which pages are useful and which are not. This information is reported in aggregate and is not used to identify individuals.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors for marketing, and we do not sell data collected through this site.

Third-party services

Some pages embed or link to services operated by others, for example external document links and our accreditation certificates. Those services may set their own cookies once you visit them. We do not control those cookies; please check the relevant provider's policy.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how parts of this site work, including the ability to submit forms or sign in to staff areas.

Guidance for the most common browsers is available from their support pages.

Changes and contact

If we introduce new cookies, for example through a marketing or measurement tool, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

For any question about this policy, contact enquiries@gt-scot.co.uk.
